Bingley Harriers brought the 2012 track & field season to an end with an appearance in the British Athletics League Super 8 Cup and Plate Finals in Derby.
The ladies’ team finished third in the ‘Cup’ Final, only two points off second place.
There were second places for Amy Howard (discus), Ruth Calvert (javelin) and Katie James (long jump) and a very creditable team effort from the remainder of the ladies team.
The men’s team finished fourth in the ‘Plate’ Final, with impressive performances from Oliver Robinson in the 400m, James Hall in the 1500m and Demetric Nelson finishing his season in style by winning the 200m.
