All Saints Church of England Primary School (Bradford), Birkenshaw Church of England First & Nursery School, St Walburga’s Catholic Primary School, Shipley) and Victoria Primary School, Keighley have won a place in the West Yorkshire area final of the Drax Cup 2011.
This is the biggest cricket competition for under-nines in the country, and the quartet, who beat over 25 other primary schools from across Bradford in a series of mini tournaments, now go forward to Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club on Tuesday, June 21.
The finals will be played at Headingley Carnegie on Sunday, July 3 prior to the Yorkshire v Nottinghamshire Friends Provident Twenty20 Cup fixture.
