A woman has been jailed for four years after deliberately driving at a man and leaving him with life-changing injuries.
Kerry-jo Spencer pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm and a separate charge of causing her victim actual bodily harm.
2. Man killed in crash in Leeds Old Road, Thornbury
A 57-year-old man has been killed in a serious Bradford crash on January 21.
West Yorkshire Police was called to reports of a collision on Leeds Old Road, in the Thornbury area, at 6.42am by Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
3. Leeds Old Road crash victim named locally as Haji Binyamin
The 57-year-old victim of a serious crash in Bradford has been named locally as Haji Binyamin.
Haji Binyamin, from Thornbury, died after a collision on Leeds Old Road on the morning of January 21, just outside a row of shops between Thornbury Grove and Thornbury Avenue.
4. Four men arrested after man dies in crash at Cleckheaton
Four men have arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man died in crash near the M606 at Bradford on January 22.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision at Cleckheaton in the morning.
5. Park Fisheries in Bradford given zero food hygiene rating
A Bradford takeaway has been told it needs to make urgent improvements in its food hygiene standards.
Park Fisheries, Oak Lane, Manningham, has been given a zero food hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency following inspections on December 22, 2021.
6. Funeral cortege of Smokie legend Terry Uttley applauded by fans
The funeral procession of Smokie legend Terry Uttley was applauded by fans and friends lining a street to say goodbye.
Terry, the last original member of the Bradford rock band, died in December, aged 70, after a short illness.
7. Leeds Old Road closed after pedestrian seriously injured in crash
A Bradford road remained closed on January 21 following an earlier crash on Leeds Old Road where a man suffered serious injuries.
A police spokesman said: "West Yorkshire Police are currently in attendance at a serious road traffic collision on Leeds Old Road in Bradford.
8. Missing 14-year-old from Bradford found safe and well
Police confirmed on January 17, that Abdullah Shah, who was reported as missing from Bradford, had been found safe and well.

A mother and daughter, who run a popular children's play centre in Bradford, feel it’s the right time to call it a day after 17 years in business.
Funsters Children’s Play & Party Venue, on Harry Street in Dudley Hill, will shut at the end of March if a buyer cannot be found before then.
10. Bradford men Brandon Ward and Charles Woodhead jailed
Two men have each been jailed for two years after they smashed their way into a Bradford house with weapons in a terrifying revenge attack.
Brandon Ward and Charles Woodhead had been reported to the police for taking a van from outside the property after a party. It was then driven at such speed that it developed an electrical fault and caught fire, Bradford Crown Court heard.
