The 57-year-old victim of a serious crash in Bradford has been named locally as Haji Binyamin.

Haji Binyamin, from Thornbury, died after a collision on Leeds Old Road on the morning of January 21, just outside a row of shops between Thornbury Grove and Thornbury Avenue.

10. Bradford men Brandon Ward and Charles Woodhead jailed

Two men have each been jailed for two years after they smashed their way into a Bradford house with weapons in a terrifying revenge attack.

Brandon Ward and Charles Woodhead had been reported to the police for taking a van from outside the property after a party. It was then driven at such speed that it developed an electrical fault and caught fire, Bradford Crown Court heard.
