WE’RE not seeking nominations in this category, as the winner of winners is to be selected from the top-placed nominations for the other awards.

Judges will be looking for the best overall contribution to business in the district.

The judging panel will consider who ticks all the boxes when it comes to performance, growth, staff and customer care, and general contribution to the business landscape of the Bradford district.

This category really is up for grabs by any business entered in the previous categories, and will be awarded to the firm, individual or project the panel decides embodies the ethos of the Bradford Means Business Awards.

The Winner of Winners in 2017 was cyber security specialist ECSC, which also won Job Creator of the Year.

CEO Ian Mann said: "We are very proud to have won these awards. There are 110 of us and each one is a winner.

"Cyber attacks are becoming more frequent and we are here to protect businesses of all sizes, from two or three employees to huge conglomerates, against them."

The company was founded in 2000 and now operates in 25 countries and employs 110 people who protect its clients from cyber attacks.

ECSC floated on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange in December 2016 and in 17 years has progressed to achieve a turnover of £4.5 million.

CELEBRATING more than 40 years in Bradford, Kirkgate Shopping is at the heart of the city centre.

Open seven days a week and housing high street names alongside local independent retailers, Kirkgate Shopping is also the home of one of Bradford Council’s three indoor markets.

The centre plays a huge part in the Bradford community, hosting family-friendly events, fundraising for charities, being a collection point for the Bradford Metropolitan Food Bank and backing initiatives which draw visitors into a regenerating city centre.
