A ROAD was closed for much of yesterday afternoon and into the evening as police carried out investigation work after a serious two-car crash.
Police were called at 4.30pm on Wednesday to reports of a two-car crash on Hainworth Wood Road in Keighley.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) also scrambled to the scene and sent multiple vehicles, as well as the air ambulance.
A spokesperson for the YAS said: "We received a call at 4.29pm today to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Hainworth Wood Road, Keighley.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an air ambulance."
Hainworth Wood Road North was closed in both directions while investigation work was carried out between Park Lane and Woodhouse Road, which was ongoing from around 5.30pm.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police said enquiries are ongoing.
The road was showing as having reopened as of the early hours of Thursday morning.
