These are the highest rated secondary schools in the Bradford district, according to Ofsted.

The Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills inspects state schools and independent schools as well as other education and social care settings.

There are four possible outcomes from an Ofsted inspection – ‘outstanding’, ‘good’, ‘requires improvement’ and ‘inadequate’.

To achieve an ‘outstanding’ rating, schools must receive an ‘outstanding’ grade for all the criteria listed in a report and have effective safeguarding.
