MORE than 90 per cent of students at a school have secured their first choice in higher education.

St Mary’s Catholic Voluntary Academy, Bradford Road, Menston, have reported an impressive set of A-level results.

A number of their students will be studying medicine, veterinary medicine or have attained a place at Oxford or Cambridge as well as other prestigious Russell Group universities.

A St Mary's Voluntary Academy spokesman said: "We are delighted with the high proportion of our students who have secured A* to B grades at A-level and also those that have achieved distinctions and distinction in vocational courses.
