Former teacher at Grange and Tong set to retire

Chris Chew e-mails: I have been given the job of writing the speech to say goodbye to our current head teacher.

I am at a school in Dewsbury, "The Community Science College @ Thornhill" and our head teacher is Mr David Powell.

I am trying to find any of his old colleagues from his time as a teacher in Bradford. He taught at Grange School from 1973-1980 and then at Tong School from 1981 - 1990. He was a Science Teacher.

If there are any of his colleagues out there who would be prepared to give me any stories, reminiscences of his teaching career in those schools, especially any funny stories, I would very much welcome them.
