25 years ago: Buses in Bradford, Keighley, Otley and Skipton were to be taken off the road. Busmen at West Yorkshire Road Car Company were to stage an evening walkout in protest of the company’s plans to introduce minibus services in Harrogate.
50 years ago: More than 2,000 people had visited the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth over Whit Sunday and the following Monday.
