25 years ago: Bradford City Hall was under siege as protests were mounted in opposition to Council rate rises. All doors to the building were locked “for security reasons” except the west entrance, which was covered by City Hall staff.
50 years ago: A training scheme to improve politeness among bus conductors was one of the recommendations in a Bradford Junior Chamber of Commerce report.
