25 years ago: Runners from all walks of life took to their heels for the T&A family fun run. More than 800 runners lined up at Apperley Bridge for the six-mile jog around Esholt.
50 years ago: Bradford and District Hospital Fund, which for threepence a week handed out grants for medical treatment, decided to pay out all benefits by cheque and post to cut out congestion and delay.
