Plans are being drawn up for a new kidney treatment centre in Bradford. A satellite minimal care renal dialysis unit would be run by Leeds Eastern Health Authority and connected with the special kidney unit at St James's Hospital in Leeds.

A plea for a remission of rent by Bradford Northern to pay for ground improvements to be made at Odsal Stadium has been rejected by the Bradford Corporation sub committee responsible for the stadium.
