Plans are being drawn up for a new kidney treatment centre in Bradford. A satellite minimal care renal dialysis unit would be run by Leeds Eastern Health Authority and connected with the special kidney unit at St James's Hospital in Leeds.

A plea for a remission of rent by Bradford Northern to pay for ground improvements to be made at Odsal Stadium has been rejected by the Bradford Corporation sub committee responsible for the stadium. The decision was made on the back of the club's rejection of the conditions of a new three-year lease last month.
