Cash aid and advice for people want-ing to develop leisure facilities in Bradford is now available from Bradford Council. The council wants people with ideas of leisure schemes ranging form the arts, sports, cultural entertainment and projects linked to modern technology to get in touch.

Bradford's Alhambra theatre is for sale. The theatre is offered by its owner Gladys Stanley Laidler at a price of £85,000. Her aim is that it shall continue as a theatre and she has contacted officials of the Arts Council of Great Britain.
