25 years ago: Horse riders were celebrating after Bradford Council was ordered by magistrates to clear a stretch of the Denholme Edge bridleway that had been impassable for more than five years due to knee-high mud, with the operation set to cost the authority about £2,000.
50 years ago: Police were hunting thieves who they suspected might be looking to sell on 20,000 razor blades they had stolen from a wholesale grocers in Garnett Street, Bradford, after they removed slates from the roof of the business and dropped into a warehouse.
