25 years ago: The Bradford & Bingley Building Society announced plans for a new computer centre, set to create 600 jobs, after buying ten acres of land at Cross Flatts cricket club.
50 years ago: Peter Wragg, captain of Bradford City, spoke to the Telegraph & Argus to deny allegations made in a Sunday newspaper that he had been involved in bribery when playing for York City in 1961.
