25 years ago: The Yorkshire Regional Health Authority called for urgent action to cut waiting lists in Bradford hospitals, after figures revealed 1,100 people had been waiting more than a year for surgery.
50 years ago: Detectives were investigating after a homemade bomb, consisting of a sauce bottle filled with petrol, was thrown through the window of a house in Parsonage Road, Bradford.
