25 years ago: John Netherwood, chairman of United Fork Trucks, Mirfield, built a real helicopter from a kit and was the proud owner of an “Exec” two-seater helicopter.
50 years ago: As Salt Grammar School moved to its new premises, on Higher Coach Road, Baildon, the present buildings in Victoria Road, Shipley, were to be used as an annexe for Bingley Training College.
