Bradford’s city centre shops have changed so much over the years, but many of our readers remember them as they used to be.
Mr A Thompson, of Crossflatts, writes to us asking if any Remember When? readers can help him identify some of the shops featured in a book he has called Memories Of Bradford Part 2.
He says on page 16 of the book there are two low-level shops in Forster Square “where the old YMCA was in the 1950s.”
“The shops were only there temporarily. They were demolished in the late Sixties,” writes Mr Thompson. “Could any of your readers tell me the names of the shops?”
