Positive Bulls star Jamie Langley is feeling “good” after making plenty of progress with his dislocated shoulder.

The England World Cup man popped it trying to tackle a rampaging Nick Fozzard in Sunday’s clash against Hull KR.

He was taken to hospital after having trouble putting it back in the joint but today revealed the shoulder is shaping up well.

“It’s not the first time I’ve had it happen and I’ve got a bit of experience of these injuries,” Langley said.

“Probably the worst thing you can do is put your arm in a sling and rest it.

“They often tell you to do that but it only stiffens up and puts you backwards.

“I’ve found it’s best to keep it moving as much as you can within reason and have done that since day one.

“I started rehab on it straight away with our physio and it’s been progressing all the time. It doesn’t feel too bad at all now and is responding well.”

Langley visits a specialist on Monday with team-mate David Solomona – who bizarrely suffered the same injury in the 13-13 draw – and hopes to be told there is no major damage.

The second-rower won’t put a timescale on his return but is eager to come back soon having impressed against Rovers.

“It was nice to be out there for the first game of the season,” Langley said.

“I was still a bit rusty but you expect that and it was frustrating having to go off, especially with Sol already injured.

“If we could have got it back in the joint I could have had it jabbed up and got back out there but it just wouldn’t go in.

“There was no reason for it happening. It’s just one of those things,.

“I’ve had surgery on the shoulder in the past and it’s as strong as it’s ever been but it was just one of those tackles where I went in a bit awkward and it could have happened to anyone.

“I’ll see what the specialist says and keep on top of the rehab.

“Fortunately. we haven’t got a game this weekend so that’s one match I won’t miss.”
