Skipton Karate Centre won two kumite (fighting) gold medals in the Inter-Club Childrens’ Championship at Guiseley’s Aireborough Leisure Centre.
They went to Rebecca Newbury in the girls’ black belt and Joseph Simmonite in the boys’ under four foot red to orange belt, where Bradley Harrison took silver.
Kata silvers went to Abigail Spence (girls’ 12 years plus black belt), Aimee Culverhouse (girls’ red to orange belt) and Jonathan Tam (boys’ red to orange belt).
The club, who train at Aireville School and Craven Pool, also won eight bronzes.
They went to - Kumite (fighting), girls' black belts: Abigail Spence; boys' black belts, Josh Lee; girls' 4ft 4in plus green to purple belt, Hannah Watts; girls' under 4ft 4in red to purple belt, Aimee Culverhouse; boys' brown belts, Nheyavan Selverajah.
Kata - boys' red to orange belt, Bradley Harrison; girls' brown belt, Varshika Selverajah; girls' green to purple belts, Hannah Watts.
