A total of 113 players turned out for a Bradford Darts Promotions tournament held at Tong Liberal Club.
Some high quality darts was played. Furthest lady/youth went to Nicky Deakin (Barnsley), for getting to the third round.
The highest check-out went to Steve O’Donnell from Castleford, finishing from 161 in the third round.
The losing finalists – all with scores of three legs to two – were Darren Hale (Huddersfield), Brendan Marren (Keighley), Jamie Wilson (Huddersfield) and Dave Green (Wakefield).
In the semi-finals, Willy Kershaw (Shipley) raced into a 2-0 lead against Simon Crossland, taking the second leg with a 58 checkout and a magnificent 180. An 18-darter from Crossland made it 2-1 before Kershaw took the third.
The other semi-final was won by Les Delderfield (Shipley), beating Dean Winstanley (Rotherham) 3-2.
Delderfield won it with a double 20 at his second attempt, after Winstanley bust 25.
Delderfield also had a 13-darter in the third leg.
The final was a one-sided affair as Delderfield beat Kershaw 4-0, hitting five scores over 100, including two 171s.
He took home prize money of £200, with Kershaw winning £100 as runner-up.
