WYKE darts pro Joe Cullen is through to the UK Open quarter-finals for the first time.
Cullen beat Stephen Bunting 9-7 in the fifth round in Minehead tonight to book his place in the last eight.
It is the furthest he has ever got in a PDC major tournament and he clinched victory against the former Lakeside world champion in style with a 12-dart leg.
Cullen, who earlier in the day saw off Alan Norris, said: "It feels really good. Stephen is a fantastic player and you can't give him any chances."
