In taking on Whitley Warriors, Bradford Bulldogs showed what they might become in the English National Ice Hockey League North if they could just attract a few more players.
Bulldogs, facing one of the top teams in the division, were seeking a much-improved performance from the previous week and got it, despite the 6-1 scoreline.
The Bulldogs, whose only goal came from captain Andy Brown, face a tough weekend on the road, facing Manchester on Saturday and Flintshire in North Wales on Sunday.
The under 12s continued their good form with an 8-4 win over Grimsby. Goals came from Macauley Stones (4), Liam Kirton (4) and Niall Heaton (2).
Meanwhile, the under-14s beat Grimsby 14-4 with goals from Joel Marrow (6), Myles Dacres (6) and James Eastwood (2).
The win keeps Bradford still with an outside chance of making the end-of-season play-offs.
