The Dave Rayner Fund will be holding its annual fundraising dinner and dance at Bradford’s Hilton Hotel on November 10.
The chief guest this year is legendary Irish cyclist Sean Kelly plus world junior road race champion Lucy Garner and Team SKY’s Ben Swift, Luke Rowe and Ian Stannard. Hosting proceedings for the evening will be Eurosports David Harmon.
Tickets are still available either by phoning Gary on 07703-199449 or by visiting the Funds website daveraynerfund.co.uk.
The Dave Rayner Fund was started in the memory of Bradford professional cyclist Dave Rayner, who was tragically killed in 1994.
Rayner raced in Europe thanks to the support given by his mother and father, Barbara and John, and was at the pinnacle of his career when he was tragically killed.
'The Fund' was set up to assist any riders, male or female, to race in Europe against the world’s best as rRayner had done.
So far, since 1995, 'the Fund' has helped over 300 riders to fulfil their ambition of becoming a success by giving and offering support. These include Bradley Wiggins, David Millar and Irishman Dan Martin.
