Division Two of the Bradford Table Tennis League is proving to be very tight and competitive already this season, with over half of the matches ending in draws.
The trend continued in week three, although both Laisterdyke A and Hermits A were in winning positions before letting their advantage slip.
Laisterdyke were leading Highdale C 5-2 thanks to a treble from Faz Hussain and two from Peter Holbrook, but the visitors rallied as George Bak took two while Mick Kosmowsky and Gary Foster added one each.
Bak and Kosmowsky completed the comeback with a 3-0 doubles success to leave both teams with two draws each so far.
Hermits A were also in a winning position at home to Yeadon B but were also pegged back.
New signing Deo Jones registered his third treble so far for Yeadon but Hermits led 5-3 as Pete Johnson and Ian Warner both won two while Maurice Biott added a single.
Martin Ashworth won the last singles for Yeadon and joined Jones to take the doubles from 2-0 down and record yet another draw.
