The two Embassy teams in Division One of the Bradford League are in a head-to-head battle to avoid relegation.
Highdale C are already down but Embassy A are making a late charge to try and catch Embassy B.
The A team did their cause no harm with a 6-4 victory against their B stablemates, thanks to two wins each from Jack Dabrowski, Ian Marshall and Tony Boyd.
That narrowed the gap to just five points but they may have left themselves too much to do as Embassy B have five games left while the A team have just three.
Fastbats C and D are in the same position in Division Three, with one of the pair set to accompany Rastrick into Division Four.
Fastbats C gained a valuable draw at home to Laisterdyke B, with Mick Holt unbeaten. But the D team matched that 5-5 result against Hermits B thanks to Terry Miller’s treble.
The C team are currently three points behind and have two games in hand, which again could prove crucial in the final month.
