Cowthorpe is closed on Sunday for an open match. Tickets are available from Simon on 01274-571175 and cost £15. Members are reminded that the gates at Ripon and Raskelf should be closed at all times as we have had reports of them being left open. Raskelf Lake is fishing well for nets up to 20lb of quality roach, ide and chub.
Bradford & District Sea AC
We have an inshore trip to Whitby on Wednesday, January 25 aboard Shytorque 2000. Telephone Dave Kitchingman on 07711-987833 to book your place. Our next general meeting will be on Tuesday, January 17 in the New Inn at East Bierley, commencing at 8pm. Please note that subs are now due, at still only £10 per year.
Hewenden AC
The next match at Hewenden is this Sunday with a 9.15am draw. All members welcome, £10 all in. Would all members please take care when driving on the lane. Due to the wet weather this has become slippy. Proposals for the annual meeting should be sent to the PO Box address in your yearbooks. Alternatively contact Ian King (phone number also in your yearbook), before March 1.
Listerhills AA
No one should now be fishing club waters who has not obtained a 2012 membership book. To validate membership it must be signed in the appropriate place. For Sunday’s membership match at Pilley’s Dam the gate will be open at 8.30am with the draw at 8.45am. Applications for Leeds Amalgamated membership are now being dealt with. Not many rods have been in action over the holiday period, a few pike are been caught from the canal on static dead baits.
Bradford Pals AC
Our annual meeting will be held on Saturday, January 21 at the Fighting Cock on Preston Street, 12.30pm. It is important that as many members attend as possible. Food will be provided. Can all new prospective members please ensure they have returned their completed application forms before then.
Bingley AC
Due to a delay in 2012 yearbooks, members may fish on 2011 books until new ones become available. The next committee meeting is this Tuesday.
