Hermits are mounting a strong title challenge on two fronts in the Bradford Summer League.
Division Two is becoming a battle between Unity B and Hermits C, who overcame the club's D team 6-4 despite a fine individual three-win effort from Tony McGowan.
Steve Smith, Les Packer and Peter Worger won two each for the C team and they are just two points behind Unity, who were 8-2 winners at Embassy B.
Hermits H are out in front in Division Three, two points clear of Fastbats after an 8-2 victory against Hermits J.
Allan Miles-Turner finished unbeaten while Bob Underwood and Mark Jessop took two each, with Gordon Tilbrooke bagging a double for the J team.
Fastbats also recorded an 8-2 victory over Hermits I as Chris Proud led the way with three singles. Ryan Ackroyd and Allan Jeffery both won two but lost to Dave Robinson.
