World Championship-bound Courtney Rivers-Gallagher has enjoyed more success with the AMA UK national karate squad.
The 15-year-old Thornton Grammar School pupil won the kata pairs in Malta with team-mate Danielle Dunn and, for the third straight year, she took the performance kata.
Courtney was also second in the individual kumite, being beaten by Danielle, third in the weapons kata and was in the winning 15-17 years' kumite team, defeating the Italians for gold.
