LISTERHILLS AA The next members’ match at Pilley’s is on Sunday, December 1. This fishery is still producing good catches, mostly small fish from the canal with a few big out-of-season trout from the River Aire. These must be returned immediately. All catch reports are welcome. The winner of the veterans’ trophy at Kippax was E Harrison with 14lb 12oz. Winner of the over-70s was G Kitchen with 11lb.

BRADFORD SEA AC The next trip we have arranged will be to Liverpool Bay on December 14. Anyone wishing to go, please ring Dave on 07711-987833 to book a place. This trip is filling up fast, so hurry if you want to go for the big cod. We are organising a four-day trip to Guernsey in April 2014. This will be a wrecking trip, targeting pollock and turbot.

BRADFORD No1 AA Widdington Hall is fishing well for roach on pole or long rod. Chellow Dene is worth a visit for roach, chub and ide on maggot or caster. Pike are beginning to show on the canal at Milby Cut or at Roecliffe on the River Ure.

BINGLEY AC There will be a new trophy to fish for next year called the Bruce Howard specimen fish trophy, donated by the club president. Full details will be on the website in due course (bingleyanglingclub.co.uk). Members are reporting good nets of small perch from Eldwick reservoir.

HEWENDEN AC The next pike match will be held on Sunday, with a 9am draw in the carpark, £10 all in and all members welcome.
