Wayne Chandler, playing off scratch in his first nine-ball competition, won the latest weekly tournament at Cue Gardens, Odsal, by defeating Mark Lunn (-3) 6-3 in the final.
Chandler will be off a new -1 handicap in next Wednesday’s event.
Snooker players and fans are reminded that Cue Gardens is hosting competitions on Saturday and Sunday for a chance to play world number 26 Stephen Lee next Wednesday evening.
Entry costs £5 and players should arrive before 11am to register.
