Bradford Dragons' hopes of securing a play-off place rest on them winning against Westminster Warriors this Sunday at Bradford College sports hall in vcars.co.uk Division One (4.15).

Dragons are currently eighth, which is the final play-off berth. The Warriors are 11th but also have a slim chance of qualification.

They have already met twice this season, with honours even.

Dragons won the first meeting in the National Trophy, while Westminster claimed a league triumph.

Bradford's head coach Chris Mellor is ready for the challenge, saying: "They have a very talented and deep team with Jonathan Johnson, Yannick Bulambwe and Leon Bennett-Harris being three key players to look out for.

"A big key for us will be transition defence and rebounding the basketball as Westminster are a very athletic team who are dangerous on the break and have good shooters as well as tough rebounders."

If Dragons win this weekend, they could move up to seventh. This would leave them with trips to Bristol and Reading, as well as a home game against Northumbria to finish off their regular season.

Elsewhere for Bradford Dragons, their women enter the play-offs with a home quarter-final against Mansfield Giants tomorrow (6.15).

Dragons II go up against Liverpool in vcars.co.uk Men's Division Four action, while the under-18 men face Durham Wildcats tomorrow and Sheffield Sharks on Sunday.

The under-16 boys travel to Preston Pride tomorrow and York Eagles on Sunday.
