SALTAIRE AA Canal match result (Jan 13): 1 P Booth (Halifax) 6lb 8oz; 2 E Green (Halifax) 4lb 13oz; 3 D Senior (Saltaire) 4lb 8oz. River match result (Jan 20): 1 Andy Fox (three grayling and one chub for 6lb 4oz); 2 John (two chub for 5lb 9oz); 3 Eric Wright (one chub for 3lb 12oz); 4 Barrie Murgatroyd. All anglers caught fish. Only one could not weigh in – he only caught trout in the match but, in the next hour, caught three fish that would have counted.

The Canal and Rivers Trust open day planned for Sunday has been rearranged. Due to the adverse weather, work on the Dowley Gap Locks has been postponed and the CART open day has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 17. See the Aire Rivers Trust website for more details.

BRADFORD NO 1 AA Raskelf Lake will be closed on Sunday for the second round of the Raskelf Winter Series. A decision on whether this match will go ahead or not will be made by the match secretary tonight. Widding-ton Hall should be worth a visit this weekend for roach. Milby Cut canal is fishing very well for roach, dace and perch on maggot or bread punch.

HEWENDEN AC The next Pike match is on Sunday. All members welcome, £10 all in. Draw in the carpark is 9am. If there are any proposals for the AGM, please send them in writing before March 1 to the PO box number in your book on page two.

LISTERHILLS AA Before the big freeze, anglers fishing the canal found the roach tightly shoaled up, making good catches or practically nothing. The next members’ match is on February 3, weather conditions permitting.

BINGLEY AC Results of the match fished in Myrtle Park on Sunday: 1 C Dine 5lb 6oz (six grayling), 2 A Greenwood 3lb (five Grayling) 3 I Needs 1lb 12oz, 4 A Healy 1lb 11oz. There is a work party at Coppice Pond on Sunday (10am), weather permitting.
