It has been a good start to the Bradford Table Tennis League season for Hermits teams, and after week four they lead the way in three of the five divisions.

Hermits D moved into top spot in Division Three following their third win of the season.

They overcame Fastbats D thanks to Paul McKrieth and Tom Sampson, who were both unbeaten. Steve Mills added two in their 8-2 success.

In Division Four, Hermits F have a similar record with three wins from four matches, and they have a two-point lead over Fastbats D following their 9-1 win at Unity F.

Roger Swinthenbank and Norman Swift Both won three, with Geoff Parkes adding a couple. Lynne Thompson replied for Unity.

Hermits I have a 100 per cent record in Division Five, and have opened up a healthy lead after their latest victory against Hermits L.

Joe Healey led the way with three singles.

Peter Worger and Steve Morris both took two with Paul Rook winning two for the L team.

Division Two leaders Fastbats A maintained their unbeaten record with a hard-fought victory at Laisterdyke A.

The home side led 4-3 as Faz Hussain won three and Sarfraz Khan took one but Fastbats hit back as Craig Knowles and Greg Hill won two each.

Tony Hutton added a single and Fastbats clinched victory when Knowles and Hill won the doubles 12-10 in the fifth game.
