CLECKHEATON aim to bounce back from their first defeat of the Bradford League Premier Division season when they host New Farnley tomorrow.

After opening their campaign with two victories, Cleck lost their 100 per cent record at Bradford & Bingley last weekend, as Jack Edgar's century for the hosts proved to be a match-winning one.

New Farnley's season so far has been in complete contrast to tomorrow's opponents – losing their first two matches before registering that all-important first victory last weekend with a comfortable eight-wicket triumph over East Bierley.

Former first-class star James Middlebrook took 4-4 for the Farnley boys, while team-mate Mark Lawson was on form with bat and ball in that maiden win.

Elsewhere this weekend, table-toppers Hanging Heaton head to mid-table Lightcliffe aiming to extend their six-point advantage at the summit.

Pudsey St Lawrence will look to stay on the leaders' coat-tails when they travel to face struggling Scholes, while fourth-placed Bradford & Bingley have an away clash at Morley to negotiate.

Woodlands and Pudsey Congs – with a sole victory apiece so far – go head-to-head, and Farsley head to basement boys East Bierley also targeting a second victory of the new campaign.
