What another eventful week that has been! It’s been great getting among the fans so much.

The fund-raising events that have been going on all week have been well supported and the ‘pledgeometer’ is ticking away nicely!

I’ve got to say again how generous everyone has been, and the rugby league family have really got behind us - a big thank you to anyone who has pledged or donated from everyone at the club.

I’m going to pull the old violin out for a minute, so bear with me! It’s been tough going for all the lads to keep their heads straight worrying about our wages and paying mortgages, but what a week to keep us focused.

It doesn’t get any better than Leeds at home in front of a packed-out Odsal. There’s a big push for a sell- out and I’m gutted to miss this one.

I’m equally as disappointed for young John Bateman - he’s a passionate Bradford lad who has been outstanding this year for us and would have loved to get stuck into the Rhinos this week.

I think his two-match ban was pretty harsh but he is a young lad and he’ll have plenty more big games in what I’m sure is going to be a long and successful career.

The ‘Bradford Bulls Bake Off’ is in full swing again. I’m proud to say that I am the reigning Bake Off champion and I’m going all guns blazing this year to retain my crown!

This week saw an epic battle between Elliott Whitehead’s raspberry cheesecake and Luke Gale’s love-heart shaped victoria sponge . . . all I’ll say is that there were a lot of leftovers!

I’m going to finish with a thank you in advance to all the fans this week for filling Odsal.

I already know that you are going to get behind us and, maybe I’m biased, but I think that we have the best fans in the league and with you cheering us on we’re already halfway to that win!

See you tonight. COYB! xxxx.
