A defensive horror show left Mick Potter speechless after his Bulls were beaten by 12-man Catalan Dragons.
The French side played almost half the match without David Ferriol, who saw red for a high shot on James Donaldson, but still clinched two points.
Missed tackles were a major reason for that and Potter could not hide his frustration after the game.
Having revived their Super League play-off hopes with victory at Leeds the previous week, the Bulls slipped worryingly back into old habits.
“I’ve got a few words I could use for our defence but I’ll choose not to,” said Potter.
“We seemed like a different team. Perhaps we thought they were going to get tired when they only had 12 players but the other team found more enthusiasm.
“The game slipped away and they just out-enthused us in the second half. I think our mentality was ‘the other team has 12, we should win’. You just can’t do that.”
