Steve McNamara has completely overlooked his former Bulls charges in the latest England Elite Training Squad.

Bradford are one of only three English Super League clubs without a single representative in the 32-man group named by national-team boss McNamara yesterday.

Andy Lynch, Jamie Langley, Nick Scruton and Paul Sykes all miss out despite being involved in the training squad for last year’s Four Nations.

Bryn Hargreaves has also been omitted despite making an impressive start to the season following a winter switch from St Helens, while Salford and Wakefield are the only other domestic clubs to be ignored.

But youngsters Elliott Whitehead and James Donaldson have been recognised by their former club coach after being named in the 25-man England Knights squad.

The Knights will act as a second-tier squad, similar to rugby union's Saxons and designed to increase pressure for places in the elite squad.
