The pain of a fourth consecutive Grand Final defeat is still fresh but Bryn Hargreaves is targeting an Old Trafford return with the Bulls.

A member of the St Helens side beaten by arch-rivals Wigan in last season’s Super League showpiece, the workhorse prop knows he will never be able to right the wrongs of that 22-10 defeat.

Saints’ failure was made all the more unpalatable considering Hargreaves is Wigan born and bred and started his career with the Warriors before being pushed out of the door in 2006.

But putting the setback firmly behind him after agreeing a two-year deal to join the Bulls, the 25-year-old believes he can complete his collection of club honours in the years to come.

“There’s one thing that I’ve not got,” said Hargreaves, who won both the World Club Challenge and Challenge Cup with St Helens.

“I’ve won all the other medals and the one thing I’ve not got is a Grand Final medal.

“Coming up against my old team in my last game for St Helens and losing my fourth Grand Final on the trot was a bitter pill to swallow. It’s not something that I’ll ever be able to right.

“But hopefully down the line, I can help put this team in a better position to win some silverware and hopefully that’ll put a bit of a shine on what happened at Old Trafford.”

Meanwhile, the club yesterday announced they will be launching the new 2011 home and away shirts ahead of schedule.

Both will be made exclusively available to Bulls members between 12.30-10pm on Thursday, December 2 from the newly-refurbished Bullring store at Grattan Stadium.

Bulls squad members will be available throughout the event, with shirts available for £39.99. All members can also received a further £5 discount thanks to the 500 pre-allocated points on their membership cards.
