The Bulls cruised through to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup with a thumping 58-16 win against Leigh Centurions.

Not even the presence of Bulls legend Robbie Paul could inspire the Centurions to an upset on what looks certain to be his final Odsal appearance.

Chris Nero scored a hat-trick and Bradford ran in a total of 10 tries to lift spirits after the previous week's defeat to Crusaders The writing was on the wall right from the start when Nero and Paul Sykes both scored within the opening 10 minutes. Sykes kicked both conversions in a total haul of eight successful kicks.

Steve Menzies added a third following a superb break from Rikki Sheriffe but Leigh pulled one back when Martin Ridyard crossed.

But the Bulls got back on track when Brett Kearney scored before the break and Mike Worrincy, Nero and Menzies all touched down in the first 16 minutes of the second half.

Nero stepped through the defence to complete his triple before supplying the pass for Wayne Godwin's try.

Glenn Hall added his side's final try and also kicked the goal, his effort sandwiched in-between consolation scores for Stuart Donlan and Dave Armitstead.
