Jamie Langley can't wait to up the tempo in Lanzarote.
The Bulls fly out to the Canary Islands on Thursday morning ready for an intensive week of warm-weather training.
Loose forward Langley reckons this is when the serious business begins as the new Super League campaign looms.
"You start building as soon as you come back in for training each year but this is when you notice a real step up," Langley said.
"We've got the whole squad together now, everyone has returned and we're ready to get into the hard work. Everything so far has been geared around keeping people fresh but now we're going to Lanzarote it's going to step up a couple of notches in intensity. It's a vital time of year."
It is the third occasion Bradford have used Club La Santa. Wigan today returned from the same venue and Warrington head out there in a week's time.
"It's got great facilities and everything you need," said Langley, relishing the prospect of escaping the miserable British weather.
"It's always one of the highlights of the year. It's good to get away from the muddy fields and all the rain and wet.
"We'll do three or four sessions a day, maybe starting with weights before doing sprint training with Jamie Baulch.
"Then it might be skills out on the field, some conditioning work as well or recovery in the pool.
"After supper we'll have a team meeting and review everything that's done.
"We get through a lot of work and it is really beneficial."
