ROSS Peltier insists there is "still fight left" in the Bulls as they bid to pull off the great escape.

Rooted to the foot of the Kingstone Press Championship table and needing to win as many as ten of their final 12 games, Bradford are certainly favourites for the drop.

But while many supporters cling to the hope of a league restructure that could also preserve their place in the second tier, Peltier and co are still aiming to get the job done on the field.

Speaking after Sunday's defeat at Rochdale, the Bradford-born prop said: "I'm not going to stop until that last goal or last whistle of the last game of the season, and then we are where we are.

"The goal is to keep this great club up, and I know all the lads are going to do all they can. We can't stop, we owe that to the fans.

"Because of the minus 12 points it feels like we haven't had a win all year and that's so hard mentally.

"We've got a lot of responsibility on our shoulders but we've all got to grow up, man up and take on that responsibility.

"We've got to give the city and the fans what they deserve."

Peltier, who has previously played for Keighley Cougars and the Jamaica national side, also had a message for the Bulls support ahead of Sunday's Odsal clash with Oldham.

He continued: "I just want to ask the fans to bear with us.

"I know we are minus two still but we've earned ten points and, if it wasn't for the minus 12, we would be in the mix.

"No one expected us to be anywhere near, but there's still fight left in us, there's still something there and we can get something out of these games.

"The pressure is on, we all know that. We've got to get our heads down, work hard and just make it happen."
