DANE Chisholm's season could be over after he confirmed he was undergoing reconstruction surgery on his injured knee.
The news is a massive blow for Bulls, who re-signed the half-back for a sum thought to be £10,000 last month after a drawn-out dispute with Sheffield Eagles.
The Australian produced a fine second debut for Bradford, scoring a fantastic solo try against Hull KR at the Summer Bash but then had to leave the field early after injurying his knee.
Now Bulls fans' worst fears have been realised with news that Chisholm will not be returning to the field soon.
He tweeted this afternoon: "Surgery booked in for Monday. Knee reconstruction. Pretty shattered but I'll be back on the field as soon as possible."
