LEON Pryce is back in training and expected to return to the Bulls squad for Sunday's crucial Championship clash with Batley.

The Bradford skipper missed last weekend's defeat in London with a knee injury, but has shown no ill effects this week and has resumed full training.

On-loan half back Jordan Lilley won't be joining Pryce in the Bulls' line-up, however, after again being called into Leeds' 19-man squad for their Friday night encounter with Catalans Dragons.

"Leon is back in training now, and has trained all week," interim head coach Leigh Beattie told the T&A. "His knee has settled down a bit, so hopefully he'll be up for selection this week.

"That will be great for everyone and add a lot more experience back in there.

"It would certainly have helped to have his experience at London. They're a very good side so I'm not sure it would have changed the result, but it would certainly have been good to have him around."

On the Bulls' response to that 42-12 defeat to the Broncos, Beattie added: "The players were very disappointed with their performances in London, especially coming on the back of two wins – that was a real flattener.

"But we're professionals, so they have picked themselves up this week, got on with the job and they'll be ready for our next challenge, Batley.

"They know what is expected of us and they've got to respond now. The mood in camp is good. Now it's about getting those two points on Sunday."
