STUART Reardon believes a return to Bradford would be the perfect swansong to Leon Pryce's glorious career.

Pryce is one of the most decorated players in Super League history following stints with the Bulls, St Helens, Catalans and Hull FC.

The Bradford-born star's contract with the Black and Whites expires at the end of the season and he has plenty of admirers at Odsal.

The Bulls are expected to make another attempt to bring him back to his home-town club next year and best pal Reardon reckons the move would make perfect sense.

Reardon, who played alongside Pryce for Bradford, will celebrate his own career with a testimonial when his current club North Wales Crusaders play his old amateur club West Bowling in Wrexham on Saturday.

"I hope Leon can maybe finish back at Bradford if he leaves Hull at the end of the season," said Reardon.

"I'm biased because we've been best friends for years – but he's by far the most talented player I've played with in terms of natural ability.

"Some of the things I've seen him do at amateur and professional level I've never seen done before.

"It would be nice for him to keep going for a few more years and set a few records. He's certainly in great shape and playing fantastically well for Hull FC.

"It would be a great story if he went back to Bradford and I think they could do with a top half-back; a game-changer, like Leon. He's a big name and would be good for the club.

"Bradford are in a rebuilding phase and I hope they can win promotion and buy Odsal back. I'm sure with the right investment they can get back up there."
