Bulls players and supporters will unite for an evening of festive fun at the Provident Stadium on Wednesday.

Members of Francis Cummins' squad, along with key figures from the community, will join crowds for the Stadium Carols event.

The event has been organised by the club in conjunction with the Bradford Bulls Foundation and will feature performances by the West Yorkshire Police Band and the Olive Branch Gospel Choir, along with other groups from the city.

There will also be a Christmas market behind the main stand and the event is seen as a coming together of the club and their supporters as the Bulls battle against another financial crisis.

Bulls Foundation manager Gareth Cook said: “Stadium Carols is a wonderful opportunity for everyone in the city of Bradford to come together and celebrate Christmas.

“The evening is a festive mixture of carol singing, brass bands, local choirs, mince pies, mulled wine and a Christmas market.

“The Bulls players will be on hand and special Christmas readings will be delivered by special guests, including former Bradford City ace Wayne Jacobs, Matt Diskin and Robbie Hunter-Paul.

“We would like to take the opportunity to thank all those organisations and individuals that have helped make this event possible, and a special thanks to the board at the Bulls, who have fully embraced the event as part of the BELONG campaign.

“We hope that you can all join us for what promises to be a wonderful and magical evening.”

The events starts at 7pm and tickets are £2.50, with all proceedings being pumped back into the community via the Bulls Foundation.

The Bulls are also collecting bedding and clothing to be distributed to a number of Bradford charities as part of their Belong initiative, which aims to give something back to the community.

Items can be dropped off at the club shop until Thursday, December 19.
