Robbie Hunter-Paul is to undertake a major survey aimed at drawing supporters back to the Provident Stadium.

The Bradford legend has just completed his first week as deputy director and has stated his desire to create a brand new legacy at the club.

Hunter-Paul, working alongside marketing chief Roy Davison and general manager Ryan Whitcut, has met with main sponsors Provident as he looks to grow the club’s fanbase.

The New Zealander said: “Roy and I are currently working with Ryan to carry out a full SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) analysis of the club.

“We are looking to drive the Bulls’ brand and what it actually stands for – what made Bradford the powerhouse it once was and will make it so again?

“All of that comes with research and gaining the necessary information, so we will be carrying out a supporter ‘suggestion and getting to know you’ survey.

“We want to know where we are in the eyes of our fans because it’s all about understanding how our supporters feel right now.

“What is it we are delivering? We need to know what supporters are thinking so we can provide the best service possible.

“It’s going to be an extensive survey and will really help the club to move forward. We need the fans’ help with this one and the more e-mail addresses we have, the better.”

The survey will be carried out electronically via e-mail and Hunter-Paul also stressed the importance of the club’s partnership with Provident.

“We have been down to meet the guys at Provident and they are really keen on engaging with our supporters and helping to make their match-day experience better,” he said.

“It’s about bringing our supporters closer to our commercial partners.”

The Bulls have frozen season-ticket prices for 2014 as they gear up for a pivotal year in which they must avoid finishing in the bottom two in order to safeguard their Super League status in 2015.

Hunter-Paul, who is working to attract new sponsorship into the club, said: “We’ll have to hit the ground running and I think we can all play a part in that.

“I’m confident 2014 will be the year that Bradford Bulls evolve and we create and drive a new legacy for the club.”

Meanwhile, the Bulls have said that Jobe Murphy is still in the frame for a contract for next year despite being transferred to Dewsbury earlier this season and made available to Bradford on loan if required.

The back-rower is currently sidelined with an ankle injury and his deal at Bradford was set to expire at the end of this year.
