Jamie Foster believes he has exorcised a few demons since returning to the side at full back – a position he feels could be his best.

The 22-year-old endured a nightmare comeback in that role during the Magic Weekend defeat to Huddersfield on May 27.

Foster, by his own admission, was not fully fit after rushing back from a ruptured pectoral muscle.

But, after three further games on the sidelines, he came back into the side against Warrington recently and has not looked out of place.

After proving an able deputy for Brett Kearney again in last Friday’s defeat to Wigan, Foster said: “I think I’m getting back to the way I was at the start of the season.

“Full back is a great position to play in, especially when things are going well.

“It can probably be your worst nightmare when things aren’t going too well but it can be the best position on the field and you can get involved in the game more.

“You can also learn from the other players in your team and get to know their game in terms of who offloads and who you should support at certain times on the pitch.

“You can learn something new every single day playing full back. You can never know too much playing there.”

Kearney will hope to shrug off a shoulder injury and, along with a number of other players, could come back into contention for the Bulls’ next match at home to Hull FC on Friday week.
