Ben Evans has tasted Challenge Cup glory twice before – now he wants to do it again with Bradford.

Warrington have won the trophy three times in the previous four seasons and Evans has been to the Wembley showpiece to saviour the atmosphere.

“I’ve gone down with a few of the other young first-team lads for Warrington’s past two finals,” said the on-loan Wolves forward, who recently made his Super League debut against his parent club.

“I’ve not been in the changing room or anything, but I’ve been a part of it in one sense.

“The atmosphere, the journey down, is fantastic and it would be great to get there with the Bulls this year.

“If we beat London then we’re into the quarter-finals so it’s definitely achievable. It’s a target for us.”

Evans made his bow in the cup win at Rochdale and has since featured against Warrington and Leeds, scoring his maiden Super League try against the Rhinos last week.

After an injury-disrupted start to life at Odsal, Evans has found his feet.

He said: “It’s been really good and I’m glad I’ve had chance to play a few games. I’ve been happy with how I’ve played and I just need to work on a few areas like everyone else.

“Hopefully I can do that this week and play better again. It’s about doubling up my efforts.

“Because I’ve been out for such a long time, my fitness isn’t where it should be, so that’s one of my major things to work on.

“That will come with games, so hopefully I can get that time under my belt and continue playing well.”
