A garage-owning Bradford City fan has revved up the road to Wembley with a car decked out in club colours.
Season-ticket holder Robin Luscombe wanted to celebrate City’s amazing Capital One Cup achievement with an eye-catching tribute.
So the boss of Luscombe Suzuki Leeds had one of their Swift cars covered with Bantam decals, including the club badge and Wembley good luck messages.
The four-hour job transformed the car into a dazzling tribute that has been turning heads, not only around west Yorkshire but nationwide.
Telegraph & Argus Bradford City reporter Simon Parker and photographer Mike Simmonds took it out for a spin with a difference – to Wembley and back.
“There were so many drivers doing a double take on the M1,” said Mr Parker. “I don’t think anyone expected to see a car dedicated to a League Two club.”
Mr Luscombe, of Cullingworth, said: “It’s been such an amazing, one-off experience being at the cup games.
“I thought we had to do something special.”
